Our meal plans represent the ultimate in simplicity and flexibility. All first year students are required to purchase a Gold or a Gold Plus meal plan. Returning students and commuters can purchase any plan. Anyone can purchase SharkBites - these dollars can be used at any dining location on campus. All Residents are required to purchase a Meal Plan. Each plan includes meals at the Main Dining Hall located at 355 6th Avenue South and Retail Bucks to use at the The Reef located in the University Student Center, and Bull Market Café located in Lynn Pippenger Hall. Meal plans expire at the end of each semester. Unused Retail Bucks roll over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester if the student purchases a Spring Meal Plan. Any unused Retail Bucks remaining at the end of the Spring Semester will be forfeited.


Unlimited $500: Unlimited Dining and $500 Retail Bucks -------- $2,420.00 per semester 

Unlimited $375: Unlimited Dining and $375 Retail Bucks -------- $2,370.00 per semester 

Bull 14 $650: 14 meals per week and $650 Retail Bucks -------- $2,269.00 per semester 

Essentially, a meal plan is a pre-paid account for your on-campus meals. At the start of the term, you pay for all the meals you will eat in the dining hall. You will then swipe your student ID card every time you enter the Dining Hall, and a meal will be used from your plan.

The Bull 14 allows 14 meals on a weekly basis at the Main Dining Hall. Additionally, it includes $650 Retail Bucks to use at The Reef located in the University Student Center and Bull Market Café located in Lynn Pippenger Hall.

Retail Bucks associated with the meal plan work like a declining balance card and the value of your meal will be deducted from your account.



Fall 2020 Commuter Student Meal Plans are valid from August 2020 through December 2020. Spring 2021 Commuter Student Meal Plan are valid from January 2021 through May 2021.  These meal plans can be used at the main dining hall located at 355 6th Avenue South.  All sales are final and nonrefundable.

Commuter students have the option of purchasing any meal plan. Your USF ID, which serves as your meal card, is required for all transactions – no exceptions. The meal plan expires at the end of each semester.

The Main Dining Hall features a host of elevated all-you-care-to-eat dining stations ranging from classic to exotic fare. With a wide variety of fresh and healthy food options daily, your taste buds will be satisfied with every visit.

Featuring 8 Specialty All-You-Care-To-Eat Stations:

The Flame —All of your favorite grill items elevated to the next level. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken and more. Plus, all-day breakfast.

Al Forno —Pasta your way, every day. Plus, wood fire-grilled pizza and flatbreads with an insane amount of flavor.

The Chefs Table—A rotating theme menu with authentic recipes ranging from exotic Asian-inspired entrees to nouvelle West Coast cuisine.

Ginger —Plant-based, vegetarian and vegan friendly dining with options ranging from complex hot entrees to specialty salads.

International Station—Featuring an assortment of international flavors that you can use to create your own specialty order. A Rotating menu of deliciously grilled meats and veggies made to order can be paired with your favorite starches.

Garden Toss— Fresh & healthy customized salads made-to-order to your liking. Plus, a rotating selection of savory soups daily.

Basic Kneads—An elevated deli featuring fresh-baked bread and made-to-order sandwiches and subs. 

The Main Dining Hall is designed for you to eat in while socializing, studying or relaxing. If you need to pick up and go, meal plan holders can enjoy their meal to-go by using USFSP Dining’s Eco-Friendly to-go box throughout the semester. To-go users will pay a deposit for a one-time “Green Fee” of $5 and will receive an Eco-Friendly to-go box at the Main Dining Hall. The box may be returned to the cashier at the Main Dining Hall in exchange for a clean box. If you would like to utilize more than one to-go box at a time, there will be an additional “Green Fee” of $5. Payment can be made using Retail Bucks, cash, or credit (excluding Discover). At the end of the semester, up to three to-go boxes may be returned to the main dining hall to receive a refund of the “Green Fee” deposit(s).

Carry Out Usage:

1. Bring your clean reusable to-go box into the main dining hall.

2. Swipe in to pay for your meal, indicate that you would like your meal to-go at the cash register. You are NOT allowed to dine in using a to-go box.

3. Fill up your to-go box with a variety of delicious food.

4. Bring your to-go box into the dining hall to exchange for a clean one.
